So, after the BVI jam on Sir Richard Bransons Neker island, I flew to the Dominican Republic to put together a rail project with some of the worlds best freestyle riders. Aaron Hadlow, Andre Phillip, Susi Mai and myself have been building and sessioning a Red Bull project rail for the last few weeks.

The idea of the project has been to shoot and film the project so that we can get some solid media from it. With the support of Red Bull too, the quality of the project has been awesome with a spot basically to ourselves to use, some world class riding has been thrown down!

In the next few weeks i will be throwing out some awesome video’s on my site, so check back soon!

For the last week I have been out in the BVI’s in the Caribbean, Staying on Sir Richard Branson private island, Neker Island. It has been one of the best events that I have ever been to whilst I have been kiting and the island its self is too good to be true.

Apart from the amazing island, the BVI’s are beautiful and the competitors of the BVI kite Jam have been cursing through the islands on kites, boats and helicopters for the last seven days. Overall there where 53 people, 14 boats and a whole following of people involved in the inter island kite event. All kiting together and partying every night in a different location.

The event its self will be putting out some awesome shots and a full story in the next issue of Kiteboarding Magazine in the US and keep and eye out for some amazing video of the event. Next years BVI kite jam is already confirmed so go to their website and book up: www.bvikitejam.com

Here are some of my shots to make you throth!

The last week was awesome in the DR i finished the M.O.T.O (master of the ocean) contest in 7th place for the kiteing, but i didn’t compete in the overall three disciplines, so this made it hard. The level of the local riders is amazing, even better than it was last year. They are starting to innovate the sport towards their own style, has to be seen!

I was joined out there by fellow team mate Kirsty Jones who now rides for Animal and North and we rode in the event together as well as hanging out in the town for the parties. Susi (my girlfriend) and Animal team rider was on Neker island at the same time, kite boarding with Richard Branson. So, alot has happened in the last few weeks. I dare say you mite see some shots in the mags soon…

Finally fellow isle of wighter Toby Bromwich has just launched his new magazine and website @: www.coreonlinemagazine.com (note im not in it for next issue ;))

next event for me is is the south of france, i will be trying to hold my top ten ranking for the year!
